Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Orlando is overall a wheelchair friendly restaurant. At the entrance there is one step. But if you go towards your right, it is step free. And this is also where the valet is stationed. The bright red doors can both be open to widened your space of entry. Once entering, the lobby is spacious enough for a wheelchair to do a full 360 turn. The main dining room paths are wide enough for a wheelchair person to move around. The chairs are removable for someone who has to stay in a wheelchair.
Furthermore, the bar area can be more wheelchair friendly. There was the bar top and a few other high top tables. And the other half were normal tables and booths. The booths are for sure easy access for wheelchairs since that area is spacious. The rest of the bar area would be a little difficult to get around. The rest of the tables were in the corner or high tops. There is a small section of the bar where it is low enough to be used by someone in a wheelchair. But the location isn’t the most ideal space since there is a table right behind that section.
Last but not least, the bathroom was indeed wheelchair accessible. They had one specific handicap stall. It was spacious enough for a wheelchair to do a 360 turn. In addition, there was a grab bar available to be utilized. The sink was a little lower than the sinks outside as well.
