UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management: Student Accessibility Comments

• A golden key award hotel, the Rosen Plaza is both beautiful and accessible with some limitations.
• WARNING: The bathroom is large and accessible but the toilet area is bit tight; it is not fully ADA compliant. Watch the video and you’ll see that wider wheelchairs may have difficulty with maneuvering around toilet.
• Hotel entrance is level, no steps and automatic doors.
• There are steps on the property but there are ramps and elevators so no restrictive steps in common areas.
• Hotel has their own parking lot as well as valet (both are wheelchair friendly with disability spots near the hotel entrance).
• Twenty-nine wheelchair accessible rooms with 9 having roll-in showers and reachable shower controls but no pull down bench seat. Call for a temporary shower chair.
• Bed height 27 inches.
• Has some steps near the pool but is accompanied by a ramp.
• Accessible restaurant & bar options on site as well as right across the street.
• Approximately 10+ restaurants across the street (within 500 to 1,000 ft).
• Accessible transport $21 p/p Shuttle or $37+ for a Taxi.
