UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management Student Accessibility Review
Gringos Locos is an awesome fast casual restaurant for anyone, but especially students. It’s located on campus which is extremely convenient for both students living on and off campus. The parking is a slight issue for handicapped individuals due to how busy of a campus it is and how little parking there is directly in front of the restaurant. However there are two parking garages nearby, but not extremely close. The food is great (I recommended the double d’s!) and a fast experience if you’re just looking for a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere is very vibrant and fun with painted murals playing Top 40 hits music. The dining room is spacious and leaves plenty of room for a wheelchair to travel through. There are majority high-top tables located directly in the middle of the dining room which don’t have too much room between them. However, there are tables against the wall and wrapped around the high-tops that are accessible to wheelchairs. The bathrooms are clean and have plenty of room. There are also other features such as the hand bars located on the walls around the toilet and the lower sink that is accessible in a wheelchair. Overall I believe this location is reasonably accessible. The inside of the restaurant is very easy to move about and plenty of tables to eat at. My one warning about this specific location would be the lack of convenient parking and be ready to travel a bit if you are unfortunate enough to have to park in the parking garage.
