Wonderful Orlando Convention Hotel
UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management: Student Travel Tips: In this resort there are many good characteristics that make the hotel ADA friendly. There was a good amount of handicap parking. They were big enough for a car as well as a van. Walking in, there was enough space in the lobby and hallways to accommodate any guest. The room was very accessible. It provided lower peep hole, A/C controls, bed, handles, and closet bars. It also had the lift for the pool. One thing that I would say were not up to standards is the space between the toilet and the door. It was slightly less then minimum. Also, there was no space under the bed to provide a Hoyer Lift. Overall, I would rate the hotel a 4 because it provided good characteristics. The hotel being very near the convention area does provide easy access.
