UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management: Student Accessibility Comments

The restaurant offers beautiful scenes that are seen throughout the three rooms the restaurant offers. The first room is the grand ballroom with a beautiful backdrop of the snow falling, grand chandeliers and all decorated with the same style of tables and chairs seen in the movie Beauty and the Beast. The room on the right is the library/living area that is decorated with multiple tapestries showing scenes from the movie Beauty and the Beast and Belle and the Beast dancing in the center of the room. On the left, we have the West Wing room which has a darker look with special effects of the Beast switching back and forth from the beast back to the prince. As well as the rose slowly losing petals under a glass covering. All rooms offer multiple tables but the west wing has the least as it is the smallest of the three rooms.

Maneuvering around the restaurant is sometimes difficult with a wheelchair since the tables a little close to one another. The tables pretty much all have chairs which makes it convenient when trying to move chairs around for a wheelchair. The restaurant does have combo booths which give the ability to have wheelchair access if needed and move chairs.

The stalls are quite spacious and they are wheelchair friendly as well they are very clean so is the restaurant. The food and service and wonderful but my favorite is the lunch offerings they have since they are quick-service but the food does not taste like any other quick-service meal that WDW offers. The turkey sandwich is so good and offers real carved turkey with a pairing of veggies or french fries. The chocolate mousse cupcake is so yummy, I highly recommend it. The entrance of the restaurant is large and the doors are typically always propped open so it is simple to get in and out as well since the restaurant is not on a steep slope and there are no steps to climb.

If you love Beauty and the Beast and great food this is the place for you! The restaurant offers beautiful decor from the movie starting off in the Grand Ballroom which has beautiful chandeliers, decor and a backdrop like no other with snow falling in the back. The room on the right offers Belle and the Beast dancing in the center of the room with tapestries of different scenes in the movie like in the library etc. The room on the left is the West Wing room. This room is a little dark so it may not be the best option with little ones or guest which may need additional accommodations with clear lightning. The room does offer the rose with falling petals in its glad casing covering it and the Beast switching back and forth from Beast to the prince. When he switches into the beast, the room thunders, and lightning strikes. All the rooms are pretty wheelchair friendly but the West Wing has the least amount of clearing from table to table as well with the least amount of tables available. The food is best for me during lunch as it may be a little pricey but a decent price compared to other quick-service offerings at WDW for lunch. Dinner is quite expensive but it does offer the opportunity to take a photo with the Beast. Breakfast has the worst offering for food and service since it is price almost like dinner but the food is pre-selected and not anything out of the ordinary. The restrooms are not very highly rated on my list since the door to access the restroom is a little difficult to get into and it doesn’t have a great entrance. The restrooms and restaurant are very clean. The restrooms do offer enough space for a wheelchair. Overall it is a very nice and accommodating restaurant with beautiful decorations and delicious food. The service is great since they offer a wonderful Disney service and care.
