Restaurant Overview

Family steakhouse, western themed, moderate price point ($$)

UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management: Student Accessibility Comments

  • Longhorn Steakhouse is pretty wheelchair friendly as there are 5 handicap parking spaces with 3 ramps to the sidewalk. From the entrance all the way to the restroom the floor plan is completely one level with no steps to any areas. However, majority of the seating are booths that are not accessible. There are eight tables in the main dining area that are accessible and one table in the lounge/bar area that is accessible. There is one wheelchair accessible restroom stall with grip bars and space to turn the wheelchair. While there is plenty of clearance between tables when the restaurant is slow, the walkways become significantly tighter during peak hours. I would recommend visiting during weeknights or before the dinner rush on weekends. It is a mid-scale steakhouse with friendly servers, great to visit with family.
