UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management: Student Accessibility Comments

• There are no restrictive steps when entering the hotel at any of their many entrances. Every door is equipped with an automatic opening button.
• Bed height is 23″”, the lock to the hotel room door is 34″” from the ground,  the bathroom doors are 34″” and you can easily maneuver a wheelchair while in the bathroom.
• The space between the bed and the wall is 34″”.
• There are roll-in showers that have a metal pull down seat and you can reach the shower controls while seated.
• The hotel is completely wheelchair accessible and there is no need for third party help when getting around.  Accessible shuttle $23 per person one-way $37 per person round trip.

UCF ROSEN COLLEGE STUDENT TRAVEL TIPS: The Dolphin Resort offers several dining options including quick service, lounge and full service dining. Each dining area is easily maneuverable in a wheelchair with ample room between tables and hallways. The lobby bar has tall bar stools but there are also several lower tables making it easy for your party to sit together. There are 5 heated pools including whirlpools, fountains and waterfalls. Each pool is equipped with an ADA compliant lift. The hotel provides transportation to all Disney theme parks and every Disney shuttle has a wheelchair lift, although you will need the driver to help operate the lift. There is also a wheelchair accessible water taxi that will take you to Disney’s Boardwalk, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Transportation to the parks and Disney Springs is complimentary. Airport transportation is available for a fee. The resort also offers a Disney planning center making planning your Disney vacation customizable and less overwhelming.
