Wheelchair Jimmy Comments
We stopped here for an hour Sunday morning in November 2019 prior to a Seattle Seahawk’s football game. It’s located about 3 blocks north of the stadium (a 5-8 minute walk / roll) in a very level area of Pioneer Square. Zocalo is a reasonably large spacious, modern new establishment which is fully wheelchair accessible with many cafe level tables and large accessible unisex restrooms. There’s also many high top tables and the standard bar and stools area.
There are many new restaurants and bars nears the stadium and it appears that many are fully wheelchair accessible. There are of course many older, historic bars and restaurants in Pioneer Square with limited accessibility, so be mindful. Zocalo’s was a pleasant surprise which I’d highly recommend.
Restaurant parking is hard to come by in Pioneer Square, but there are a few public garages. We parked elsewhere and were able to walk/roll throughout Pioneer Square and to the stadium. On the WJAR index Zocalo Cocina Mexicana get a 5!

Zocalo’s is one of many Pioneer Square’s newer establishments and it’s fully wheelchair accessible. If you’re looking for a spacious level fully accessible restaurant prior to the game (or anytime), stop at Zocalo’s. I highly recommend it!
