Great pub food and drinks but terrible accessibility!
Wheelchair Jimmy Accessibility Comments We had a wonderful dinner here in February 2019 but accessibility had some challenges. The front entrance on 44th St. has several steps, however, if you drive around to the the back entrance on the East side it is step free. There were several van accessible parking spaces at the back entrance and a level sidewalk to the front door. Most of the tables are high tops but there were 4-5 cafe level tables. WARNING: the men’s restroom is not accessible. The urinal is set very high and the stall is blocked by the restroom door. The pub atmosphere was fun and Wally’s is very popular gathering place. I loved the restaurant but on the WJAR index, without an accessible restroom, Wally’s get’s WJAR 1 rating.
