Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

• The Houstonian is a large and magnificent property and most everything is wheelchair friendly! This is definitely a beautiful albeit spread out resort.
• There are a total of 289 hotel rooms, 6 wheelchair accessible guest rooms and 2 roll-in showers. The front desk stated the 2 roll-in showers had removable plastic shower seats.
• WARNING: Bed height in all 6 accessible guest rooms is 31 inches from floor to top of comforter.
• There are several nice restaurants and bars including the Olivetti and Lobby Bar and all are fully wheelchair accessible. The Arbor Grill near the pool is also accessible.
• The are no steps at the entrance and no restrictive steps on the property. Pathways are all level or ramped.
• There are 3 wheelchair accessible outdoor pools including ADA pool lifts.
• Valet and self parking lot.  No shuttle to airport. The resort property shuttle is not wheelchair accessible. If you present a disabled parking placard you may receive a lower nightly parking rate.
