Restaurant Overview

The Halal Guys is a Middle Eastern chain that offer a gyros and chicken platters. The chain started in New York City and has expanded rapidly. They are moderately priced with entrees costing between $8-10. It is a chain restaurant so seating is limited. The food is very tasty for a fast casual restaurant.

UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management: Student Accessibility Comments

  • This restaurant is not particularly ADA friendly but it does have a very nice bathroom for those in a wheelchair. It is just one big room, versus stalls, which makes it more accessible.
  • WARNING: Getting into the restaurant may be a struggle, as there is one step to get over to get to the entrance. Inside the restaurant, space between tables is very tight. It may be hard to navigate, especially someone in a wheelchair.
  • The food here is great, but it is meant to be a fast casual restaurant and not be focused on ADA compliance as much as it should be. I enjoy this restaurant but I would not recommend it for those in a wheelchair.
