Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

• The Clearwater Casino Resort is exceptionally nice and very wheelchair accessible. Everything is accessible and walkways are all nicely ramped. Elevators located where they are needed. If you’re looking for a nice accessible room heading over to the Olympic Peninsula, this is perfect.
• They offer rooms in both the Resort and Casino Tower. The Resort rooms are newer and a bit more spacious.
• There are approximately 10 ADA rooms between the Resort and Tower. All the ADA rooms have roll in showers with a well designed attached pull-down bench seat where you can reach the shower controls. WARNING: 1 roll-in shower in the resort has no seat whatsoever and you’ll need to call for a temporary seat.
• The beds are 27 inches high which includes a 2-3 inch feather mattress (this can be removed for those who wish a lower bed height). There is also a beautiful 2-3 inch comforter on top of the bed.
• The Resort “suite” ADA room has a waterside view and was fabulous with a large room and huge accessible balcony overlooking the water. No step to the balcony.
• All dining is in the adjacent casino which is a short walk with a slightly uphill grade but no steps.
• Accessible parking spaces at the front door. No steps into the resort.
• They also offer a spa and in the summers have lawn concerts (Thursday) overlooking the Puget Sound. I’ve attended and they’re terrific. Bring the family.
• I’m not a big fan of the casino which is very smokey. The resort rooms did not smell smokey.
