Bed height for wheelchair users
My only complaint about the South Point ADA guest rooms is that the beds are way too high off the floor (32 inches, I measured once) for a wheelchair user to easily transfer. I am unable to stand so I have learned to order a rollaway bed (sleeping on springs with a little padding) for myself and my husband sleeps in the queen bed. When we first stayed at South Point many years ago, the beds were much lower and therefore easier for me to use. The bathroom is ADA user-friendly though, although the toilet is very low.
