We celebrated a birthday with friends and family at Sitka and Spruce in August 2019 and had a fabulous evening. Located on Melrose Avenue in the very busy Capitol Hill area in Seattle, the restaurant is rustic, chic and very upscale. The menu choices were all fun, savory and a real memory. There are only a few truly wheelchair accessible tables as many are high top tables But we called in advance and had a very comfortable setting. The atmosphere is fun and festive as you’d might expect on Capitol Hill, and just a fun place to spend an evening. I thought parking might be impossible, but there was a new underground parking garage directly across the street with 2+ van accessible spaces (a paid lot). Take an elevator to street level.
On the WJAR rating index, the Sitka and Spruce restaurant gets a 3. The restaurant is quite spacious and totally wheelchair accessible including a large accessible restroom, but accessible tables are limited.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Sitka and Spruce on a pleasant summer evening in Seattle. Wonderful tasty food, great cocktails and wine and very friendly service. This is what Seattle dining is all about! You’ll love the food!
