  4. Restrictive Steps:                                                      Use Mechanical Lift

Jim’s Accessibility Comments:

14 of the company’s 34 trolley cars are wheelchair accessible. The mechanical lift is large enough to accommodate both manual and power chairs. The tours start and conclude at the Visitor Center at 301 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Because of the large number of stops (15) over the 90 minute tour, high traffic volume and uneven pavement,  you cannot get off the trolley till the end when it returns to the Visitor Center. Because not all cars are accessible they request 24 hour notice, but they told me to just call in the morning so they can make your visit convenient. There are no restrooms on the trolley.
