Wheelchair Jimmy Accessibility Comments: The Rogue Regency is perhaps the best hotel in Medford and it’s very wheelchair friendly. Each year as we drive from Seattle to Phoenix we stay here.
There are 10 wheelchair accessible room including 3 with roll-in showers. We generally request the accessible room ( 209, 210 or 211) directly behind the check-in desk. Some of the other accessible rooms are down a long hallway or on the lower level which is accessible by elevator. The rooms are reasonably spacious and the bathroom is spacious as well. The sink is located just outside the bathroom. Beds height is approximately 25 inches. The only shortcoming is the beds are older and not so comfortable. Certainly not as firm as a Hilton or Marriott.
The Chadwick Pub and Sports Bar (dinner restaurant and bar) is just down the hallway, and the large breakfast restaurant is a bit further down the hallway. Both are convenient to the front desk and fully wheelchair accessible.
The front entrance and all common areas are step free. There’s a huge self parking lot and a several van accessible parking spaces. The hotel is dog friendly and there’s a huge grassy area across from the parking lot. The Rogue Regency is the only nice Medford hotel with a restaurant and bar that we’ve been able to find.
