Visiting Parkview Field

Purdue University Fort Wayne Student Travel Tips: In the lot closest to the building there is a whole parking lot dedicated to handicap parking spots, with multiple spots having van accessibility. There is a straight, paved sidewalk from this parking lot directly to the main entrance of the stadium. For a shorter walking distance, a side door employee entrance that leads straight into the main level of the stadium is available as well. The stadium has 360° spacious walkways around the main level. They have a spacious and accessible elevator with grab bars on the sides that go up to their suites and lounges, or beneath the stadium to the field level. Bathrooms have 2 spacious handicap stalls with grab bars. All amenities i.e. soap, sink, toilet paper, and paper towels were all at appropriate heights. Bathroom entrance and exit have doors of accessible width, but may be a tight fit as they are only 2 inches wider than regulation. On the main level of the stadium there are multiple handicap seats that do not require stairs. There are also spaces next to those seats that are fit for wheelchairs and also have plugs for electronic mobility devices as well. The pavilion is another accessible area in the stadium with a ramp that leads to a section of picnic tables. Concession stands are an accessible height and have multiple areas around the main level with accessible tables and chairs for eating. The entrance has a ramp marked with the appropriate signage and entrance gates are 81” in width. Ticket counters are high, but if you buy a ticket prior this can be avoided. If there is an issue or you need any assistance there are always staff members around and roaming.
