UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management: Student Accessibility Comments

This is a wing restaurant in the heart of Longwood, Florida. Papa Bees is a very known restaurant and is usually my go-to as it’s not even 5 minutes away from my warehouse. The plaza is very nice and has two amazing bars on the right of it and a wackos tacos which just brings the area to life. The building is made out of red brick to give it this very old feeling to it while still being relatively new.

The wings are the best in this area and the environment is also really alive. My warehouse is not even 5 minutes away so I always go here during my lunch breaks. I would also recommend going around 6 pm, getting some extra crispy buffalo tossed wings, then going to hang out at the local breweries with some friends. When it comes to ADA accessible there weren’t many requirements met. One that was met was the bathroom there was enough space and could be wheelchair accessible. The seating was all jammed up, the bar is very tall and not low levelled. There also weren’t any available handicapped parking spots available upon arrival, and not even any other parking spots. We had to park behind the building all the way to the right. Overall, I wouldn’t really recommend going here as the establishment doesn’t meet most ADA requirements and there isn’t much to work with when it comes to spacing.
