Wheelchair Jimmy Comments

This restaurant is a family-friendly Italian chain specializing in Chicago-style pizzas & sandwiches. We’ve dined here a few times, most recently in February 2019, and always enjoyed the excellent food and great service. They don’t take reservations and because it’s a very popular restaurant sometimes there can be a long wait. The menu is varied and includes a wide variety of pizza, pasta and salads. And the restaurant is very wheelchair accessible.

The restaurant is very wheelchair accessible and all tables are on street level and step free. There are 2 van accessible parking spots next to the front entrance. The restaurant really has only 3-4 wheelchair accessible tables inside. Other than the bar which is high top tables, they basically offer booth seating. There’s probably 36 inches between the booth seats so it’s possible to pull up a wheelchair at the end of the booth. However the walkways through out the restaurant are not very wide. Sitting at the end of the booth would make it difficult for servers and other patrons to get by. There are many accessible outdoor tables and during the hot months they have an excellent misting system to keep you cool. The restroom is fully accessible with a large stall although it was only reasonably clean. Oregano’s has a fun, festive atmosphere and great food, and we had a delicious meal. On the WJAR index Oregano’s get’s a 3.
