Purdue University Fort Wayne Hospitality Management Student Travel Tips: The property of Hyatt Hotel is welcoming with a nice staff. The room was very spacious. The inside doors to the rooms are 36 inches wide, and open easily. The bed height is 25 inches. The hotel room door has a lower peephole at 41 inches. There was an in-room snack and fridge area, with the height being 36 inches high and 36 inches long, providing space to put your belongings or snacks.

Both the bathroom and room doors can open at a 90-degree angle. There are hand rail bars within the bathroom for both the toilet and the shower. The height of both grab rails for the toilet at 36 inches tall, as well as the roll-in shower. The room was mostly flat, though there was a shower lip. The sink is 31 inches tall and allows enough legroom, though it lacked in counter space in the bathroom.

Overall, the Hotel felt welcoming and accessible. The room had flat floor surfaces (besides a short shower lip), foldable seats for the roll-in shower, as well as having good space for wheelchair accessibility. A little more room would be welcomed in the bathroom, but it was enough to get around. The hotel has an on-site breakfast, and an on-site restaurant with bar, making it convenient to have a bite to eat after traveling. It was easy to navigate the hotel lobby and front desk area.
