Wheelchair Jimmy Comments

Located in Whalers Village in Kaanapali on Maui, the Hula Grill is one of our favorites. We been here a dozen times and it never disappoints. The restaurant overlooks the ocean and the views are always spectacular, especially at sunset. In September 2019 we dined on sauteed heirloom spinach, glazed carrots, crab topped macadamia nut crusted Mahi-Mahi, cocktails and wine. What a delight and the Mahi-Mahi is fresh every day. The restaurant is wonderfully wheelchair accessible with easy ramps, reasonably spacious seating and an accessible restroom. The adjacent cafe and bar are also very accessible. Whaler Village has a parking Garage with many van accessible spaces.

The very accessible boardwalk running in front of the restaurant extends for a couple miles past many of the oceanfront hotels and condos, and is always a fun excursion after dinner.

On the WJAR rating index, the Hula Grill get a 5! I highly recommend the Hula Grill. You will love it!

When we visit Maui we always visit the Hula Grill. The ocean front setting, food, drinks and service are consistently first class. And the daily fresh fish is fabulous. And everything is totally wheelchair accessible. And after dinner it’s fun to cruise along the ocean front boardwalk and/or the many high end stores in Whalers Village.
