Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

• If you’re planning to stay near the airport, this is my Favorite SeaTac hotel and it’s exceptionally wheelchair friendly. I highly recommend this Hilton.
• This is a very large hotel which includes 19 wheelchair accessible guestrooms and 7 roll-in showers. They provide several different configurations for accessible rooms including roll-in showers with well designed attached pull down bench seats (7), as well as tub showers with attached pull down bench seats (4).
• The roll-in showers have a 1/4 inch lip at the shower entry so water doesn’t flow into the bathroom area (great design).
• The guestrooms are spacious and bathrooms are also large and accessible.
• I toured rooms 2218 with a well designed tub shower with a pull down bench seat, and room 2111 with a well designed roll-in shower with attached pull down bench seat and reachable shower controls.
• BED HEIGHT: both rooms I visited were 25 inches.
• Lobby is huge with several comfortable seating areas and a fireplace.
• Large and very nice accessible restroom off the lobby.
• There is an adjacent Spencer’s Restaurant (steaks and chops) although I did not tour it. It looked perfectly accessible however.
• Valet or self park. There are also 3 van accessible parking spaces in front.
• No steps anywhere that I could find in the hotel.
• The meeting rooms and ballrooms are all wheelchair accessible.
• MOST CONVENIENT: And it’s the only SeaTac hotel that you can actually easily walk (roll) to without getting into a taxi or other transport vehicle. Follow the signs and cross over Sky Bridge and go toward parking structure. Once you’re in the parking structure take elevator to down to 4th level. Follow signs to Sound Transit Light Rail and Metro Buses. Eventually you will cross over another Sky Bridge (over International Blvd) then take the elevator down to street level (International Blvd.) and the Hilton is about 150 yards south. Probably a 10 minutes roll from the SeaTac baggage claim along level walkways.
