Purdue Fort Wayne Hospitality Student Travel Tips: All entrances have handicap spots, and they are accessible since there are no stairs or steepness to get to the doors. The main entrance has automatic doors for easier access. Walkways throughout the hotel are spacious and they offer wheelchair accessible rooms. The floor transitions from tile to carpet were also flush together. The main elevators were nice and large. The in-room bathroom had the appropriate amount of space and a nice roll-in shower. The seat in the shower can be moved easily up and down into place and the shower controls were within reach from the seat. Outside the shower there were lower hooks for towels. The space between the entertainment center was very spacious as well as the bed height didn’t exceed 30 inches. Thermostat, light switches, and other items such as closet hooks and drawers were located within arm reach not exceeding 48 inches except for two closest hooks. There were two peepholes in the door at different heights, one of which was at the appropriate height to see out of. Overall, the room was very spacious. The restaurant area had plenty of tables and various table heights to fit a wheelchair under. The bar had an accessible section to the bar where a wheelchair could roll into. The pool area was nice and had a pool chair lift. The pool bathroom was also adequate for space and the water fountain in the pool area was also at a good height.

Purdue Fort Wayne Hospitality Student Travel Tips: This hotel felt very easy to navigate with so many welcoming features. The roll-up area in the bar is great, and the heated pool has an adaptive chair for access. The hotel room was very large and had lots of room to move around. The bathroom was very spacious and allowed plenty of room as well.
