Awesome Mexican Cantina on Lahaina Beachfront
Nothing fancy here but a wonderful casual evening dining experience on the Maui waterfront. Great menu and just a fun evening. You will enjoy Frida’s!
We enjoyed a wonderful October 2019 evening in this airy, spacious cantina located along the Maui coast at sunset. The food, drinks and service were terrific and everything is wonderfully wheelchair friendly. There’s an easy step free ramp at the entrance and the restaurant has one very spacious main dining room that opens onto 2 rows of patio tables that are all reasonably accessible. Frida’s has a very nice, large accessible restroom. They offer valet parking although we parked a block away in the Safeway parking lot in a van accessible space.
There are many great restaurants in the Lahaina area and many are quite busy and more crowded, but Frida’s is just laid back casual excellent Mexican food dining (with plenty of seafood options) on the beach. We loved it!
On the WJAR rating index, Frida’s Mexican Beach House gets a 4. It very spacious, totally wheelchair accessible and we will certainly plan a return visit.
