You’s neighborhood Italian restaurant atop Michigan Avenue, located on the 5th floor of the 900 shops, is actually two restaurants in one. Frankie’s Scaloppine specializes in salads, pastas and of course Scaloppine. Get to meet either Frankie (Big or Little) as they talk with you about the “Famous Chopped Salad,” a mag mile favorite of 20 years, the Handkerchief Ravioli, made with ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, or the Smothered Brick Chicken, organic chicken topped with sweet and hot peppers. Frankie’s 5th Floor Pizzeria does not take reservations but does serve the best pizza in Chicago (CS Magazine, March 2008), offering traditional red sauce pizzas and signature Sardinian style pies.
