We enjoyed a delightful dinner here in October 2019 sitting at a window tables overlooking the Maui setting sun. Fleetwood’s offer an excellent food, cocktail and wine menu, and the service is very friendly. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor, with elevator access to both the main dining level and rooftop longe. The restaurant is reasonably spacious, but there are a few tables requiring steps for access, so tell the hostess when you call if you’re in a wheelchair, to get seated on the correct level.
The restaurant is situated in a small retail area along Front street near the famous Banyan Tree, and there’s an easy no step ramp into the retail area and elevator. WARNING: the front retail entry and ramp are locked later in the evening (perhaps 9 or 10pm), and the only egress is via a couple steps.
Parking is problematic in Lahaina but there are a couple van accessible disabled spots behind the restaurant off the street that runs parallel to Front street. One is free, one is paid parking. Fleetwood has a nice wheelchair accessible restroom and stall.
On the WJAR rating index, Fleetwoods on Front St. gets a 3. It’s a lovely restaurant, with great food and reasonably accessible rooftop (which is very cool), but interior access and entry is a bit funky. And the bar area is all high tops. We’ve visited Fleetwoods a couple times and really enjoyed ourselves! We’ll look forward to our next visit.
