Purdue University Fort Wayne Hospitality Student Travel Tips: When you arrive at the Fairfield there are 5 van accessible near the entrance although there are not curb ramps the walk to the to the front entrance is flat and cement. The entrance to the hotel are wide automatic doors. Once you enter the hotel you will find a very spacious lobby with minimal lobby furniture with lots of space to navigate. The front desk is tall but has a low cut out in the middle of it. The continental breakfast tables are spread out with room to navigate in between and had low tables with movable chairs. The lobby restroom were single stall, wide doorways, spacing beneath the sink, grab bars and everything was in reach. Pictured above is the room with a king-size bed and roll-in shower for mobility accommodations. The room has wide doorways is a conjoining room and on the first floor. The bathroom has a shower seat that is attached to the wall and grab bars on the side. The bed, nightstands, and dresser were all under 23inches. The hallways were wide and no furniture to move around. The pool area has two doorways to go through but no steps. The pool and hot tub that are both pictures above have lifts ready for use. When talking with the general manager they said just replaced the batteries as April of 2024. There is no restaurant attached to the property but there is Burger King, Panda Express, Chipotle, and Popeyes Chickens within 2 minutes of the property. Overall, the property was very clean. While I was waiting a worker was walking around the lobby spot cleaning the floor and was very friendly. The other staff including the general manager were very kind and eager to help.
