When you stop in to F.X. McRory’s Steak Chop and Oyster House for a meal or a drink, chances are Mick McHugh will be there to greet you. Since the first day the restaurant opened in November 1977, Mick has been there talking with customers, discussing Seattle events and history with friends, and championing everything Seattle has to offer to visitors and residents.

Located next to CenturyLink Field (Seahawks and Sounders) and Safeco Field (Mariners), it’s packed on game days thanks to moderate prices, plus locals know it’s the place to go to root for the home team.

Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

  • Main entry on King St has multiple steps. Enter through side door into McCory’s office building on Occidental.
  • Actual door into restaurant from building hallway is not well marked.
  • There are 2 restrooms; the restroom near front entrance is more accessible.
  • WARNING: bathroom stall is decent size but not ADA compliant; cannot close stall door behind you.
  • Great sports bar location near stadiums; spacious restaurant with most tables very wheelchair accessible.
