Wheelchair Jimmy Accessibility Comments: I’ve stayed at this DoubleTree a few times and it’s consistently excellent and fully wheelchair accessible. Spacious lobby, lounge and restaurant. Step free entry and all common areas are step free. Highly recommended.
Guest rooms were very nice and bathrooms very spacious. The sink is located outside the shower / toilet area. The roll-in shower requires a temporary plastic shower chair. There are grab bars in the shower and no shower lip.
Plenty of van accessible parking.
Although the hotel has a nice, accessible restaurant and bar, the Budd Bay Cafe across the street, located directly on the water, is the place to go. And it’s totally wheelchair accessible including an accessible restroom.
I’ve stayed in accessible rooms 134 with a single king bed and roll-in shower, and room 225 with a tub shower. Pictures attached.

A like DoubleTree hotels and this property is excellent. If you’re headed to the State Capitol in Olympia, this DoubleTree is probably the best hotel in the city. It’s about a mile from the capitol but very convenient. It’s located just a half block from the waterfront. The warm chocolate chip cookie upon arrival is delicious!
