At Ceres’ Table, Chef Giuseppe Scurato and his wife, Carolyn, serve contemporary American food, with an Italian — and in particular, Sicilian — influence. Ceres is the ancient Roman goddess of the harvest. According to legend, she was born on the island of Sicily, which is also where Giuseppe was born. Giuseppe uses local, seasonal and sustainable products whenever possible in his interpretation of traditional recipes. We are a family owned restaurant located in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, dedicated to serving good food in an understated and relaxed atmosphere.
