We dined at the fun, cozy Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant during our October 2018 trip throughout New England. First, let me say that the town of Newport R.I. was the real surprise of our trip. This town oozes with New England charm and is loaded with beautiful summer vacation homes. And the Brick Alley was a terrific find! There’s a complete menu ranging from lobster rolls to burgers to nachos. The food and service were both great and we really enjoyed ourselves!

We parked across the street in a paid public lot and there were a few van accessible parking spaces available. There’s one step at the entrance but a side door a few feet away is ramped with no steps. There are several separate dining rooms all on the 1st floor and all are step free. The restaurant is surprisingly large inside and most tables on the 1st level are accessible. WARNING: There are steps to the 2nd level dining which is not accessible. They’ve built a large, clean wheelchair accessible restroom on the 1st floor. Just look for the WC logo.

On the WJAR index the Brick Alley gets a 3. When I get back to Newport, I’m staying for a few days and will definitely return to the Brick Alley Pub! It’s a fun, happening place!
