Purdue University Fort Wayne Hospitality Student Travel Tips:

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is an upscale, casual American-cuisine restaurant. There are 5 reserved handicap parking spaces on the side of the building, one of which is marked as van accessible. There is a small ramp (no railing) to get to the main entrance which consists of one large revolving door and two push and pull doors to either side.

The dining area contains plenty of moveable tables and chairs and wide aisles. The bar consists of high-top tables and chairs and booths. It is on an elevated level. From the inside there is a 2-step staircase. From the outside, there is a long ramp (no railing) that leads to the “Take-Out” door which also serves as an entrance to the bar. There are two restrooms.

The doors are a bit heavy, and restrooms are on the smaller side, but they do have handicap stalls. There are grab bars to the side and back of the toilet and plenty of space within the stall itself. It is also spacious underneath the restroom sinks. Hand soap, faucet, and hand towels are all accessible.
