UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management: Student Accessibility Comments
4 Conners Tavern is a local haunt featuring classic and updated American comfort food, full bar, TVs, outdoor seating and outdoor bar, wonderful environment, very nice. I visited the restaurant, they had just opened, they open at noon. It is a bit small restaurant, very cozy. It is located around champions gate area near I4. I must say it was very clean again I visited a few mins after they opened, wonderful staff, the food was fast and very good, I had the house salad (wish I wasn’t on a diet) and my husband had the fish and chips. 4Conners Tavern is indeed wheelchair accessible, there’s only two handicapped parkings and it would have of been easier if they were located right next to the restaurant. On the entrance, on the left hand side in front of the restaurant has a sidewalk ramp, and a large double door. Unfortunately there’s not an accessible button to open the door. Therefore someone has to open both doors for a wheelchair to get in. Throughout the restaurants, there are a lot of low tables and enough room in between tables. Also the restaurant has two bars, one indoor and one outdoor. There’s a wheelchair accessible area on the left side of the bars, which seat only one wheelchair at a time. The bathroom entrance door is wide enough and has an accessible bathroom stall with grab bar. Big Thanks to Chris, the manager who allowed me to visit and take the photos.
