Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

  • I visited this property in 2016 prior to its conversion to a Radisson and then DoubleTree, and it’s likely Radisson and DoubleTree upgraded the hotel. Previously it was Jim’s Favorite Phoenix budget hotel and was very wheelchair accessible.
  • Located 9 miles north of downtown Phoenix off I-17 Hwy; easy roll to Metro Center Shopping Mall.
  • At least 6 major chain restaurants withing a couple blocks; easy, level roll to restaurants.
  • Nice rooms and well designed roll-in shower; carpets are a bit old but Radisson may have upgraded
  • Very nice accessible pool, restaurant only serves breakfast.
  • WARNING: 3 steps in lobby TV sitting area.
  • Great price although Radisson / DoubleTree probably increased rates.
