Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

• Beautiful modern  hotel with a maritime theme which is accessible but very inconvenient.
• WARNING: The entrance is step free, however, there is a staircase to get to the lobby font desk. You’ll be required to take a small 1 person hydraulic wheelchair lift to access the front desk.
• The hotel has 6 wheelchair accessible guestrooms, including 4 standard rooms with queen beds and 2 suites with king beds. All have roll-in showers and the hotel offers temporary shower chairs. No attached pull-down bench seats.
• WARNING: The La Sirena restaurant across from the front desk is accessible, however, there are multiple steps from the street level.
• WARNING: The Tao restaurant is accessible but requires assistance: the elevator to the restaurant is locked and requires a restaurant employee to key card the locked elevator.
• There is an accessible restroom off the lobby near La Sirena restaurant.
• A self parking garage is across the street.
• JIM’S NOTE 1: This is a lovely hotel  with multiple fun restaurants and bars, but the lobby staircase is a non-starter for me. I really dislike those dreaded WC lifts, and the locked elevator access to the Tao restaurant is inconvenient. Requirements to constantly ask for assistence is not fun. I’ll avoid The Maritime Hotel. J
• IM’S NOTE 2: The nearby Dream Downtown hotel also has the maritime decor and is far more wheelchair friendly.
