Wheelchair Jimmy Accessibility Comments: We stayed at the Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel in May 2015 and had a wonderful visit. The hotel is very large, relatively new, very spacious and very wheelchair friendly.
The Entrance and all common areas are step free and extremely spacious. This is a huge property with 180 total rooms, 8 wheelchair accessible rooms and 4 roll-in showers. The only room available for us was the accessible suite, which was really spacious, the bathroom as well, and I’d highly recommend this property although the suite was a bit expensive at $190 in peak season. The hotel offers different shower arrangements including roll-in showers and tubs. The roll-in showers have attached pull down bench seats but the shower controls are hard to reach. Breakfast only and the breakfast area is huge as well. Lots of van accessible parking spaces.
We checked-in at the front desk and then had to drive around to a more convenient entrance.
The property is set back about ¼ mile or more from the town so I drove to a dinner restaurant while my wife walked it.
