Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

• Very wheelchair friendly hotel with 306 total rooms and 2 wheelchair accessible rooms, both with roll-in showers (their website states they have 8 accessible rooms for persons with reduced mobility but the front desk says only 2 “wheelchair accessible” rooms).
• Use ramp at entrance to avoid steps.
• No restrictive steps in hotel.
• Accessible lobby restrooms on 2nd and 3rd floors.
• Nice accessible Liberte Urban Chic Lounge restaurant.
• No pool.
• No accessible shuttle to airport.
• I’m a big fan of Sofitel and this beautiful Sofitel would normally receive a WJAR 4 but they are downgraded to WJAR 3 due to only 2 wheelchair accessible rooms.
