Zahav showcases the Israeli-Mediterranean cuisine of Chef/Owner Michael Solomonov. In 2008, Zahav was named one of Esquire’s Top 20 New Restaurants in America and Philadelphia Magazine selected Zahav as its Best New Restaurant.
Very nice restaurant and somewhat wheelchair accessible. The problem is finding the back entrance.
WARNING: Probably 10 steps (and a walkway) at the front entrance so use rear entrance where there are no steps.
The back entry may be hard to find but I’m told if you’re using GPS, go to 210 Locust St. for a drop-off.
Plenty of available, accessible tables once you get in, but there are also high tops and booths.
Best to call in advance for both seating and directions to rear entry.
Bar area is mostly high tops.
