Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

  • Very nice, large hotel and reasonably wheelchair accessible with 955 total rooms, 19 wheelchair accessible guestrooms and 9 roll-in showers.
  • For the roll-in showers you need to request a temporary plastic shower seat be brought to your room.
  • Beautiful spacious lobby.
  • WARNING: There are 3 steps to the lobby bar so you’ll need to use their small hydraulic lift for access.
  • There are 3 very nice accessible restaurants including Shula’s steakhouse in the lobby and Einstein’s (on the go breakfast restaurant).
  • The Spindletop is Houston’s first revolving dining room on the 34th floor, however, the window tabes are not wheelchair accessible. The Spindletop normally only provides seating for 2 in the non-window tables for call in advance.
  • Valet only parking.
  • WARNING: There is an adjacent city garage to the hotel but there are steps to the hotel lobby.
  • Accessible outdoor pool with ADA lift.
  • No shuttle to airport.
