Old Town Scottsdale’s heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Home made Tortillas, Arepas, and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.

Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

• Wonderful Old Town Scottsdale restaurant and very wheelchair accessible.
• The Mission is unique, even for Old Town, and not to be missed!
• The food is fabulous! The tasty Latin flvors are to die for!. We started with their Crispy Pork & Cola Lime Glazed appetizer and followed up Florida Grouper and Green Chile Duck Confit entrees. The Tableside Guacamole is not to be missed, and we didn’t even get to the vast array of tacos.
• There are four dining areas: front outside patio, rear outside patio, main inside dining room and bar area. All are accessible although the main dining room tables are tightly packed. The rear patio, where we ate, was spacious and absolutely lovely (I highly recommend the rear patio). The bar area is very tight with only high top tables and bar stools and really no convenient wheelchair seating.
• The restroom was large and very wheelchair accessible.
• There were a few nearby handicapped parking spaces available (free) and 2 large public parking garages nearby.
• The entire restaurant is on 1 level – no steps.
• Overall we had marvelous dinner and will definitely return. It’s high rating is well earned.
• Before or after dinner it’s easy to casually stroll (or roll) through Old Town Scottsdale to shop and relax.
