We dined at the Citizen Public House in Old Town Scottsdale with friends on a Saturday night in February 2019 and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. They provide a yummy cheese fondue with bread, fruit and sausage at each table for starters and offer a wide range of drinks, beer and wine. The menu was fabulous offering a wide range of starters and entrees. We dined on a chopped salad, an endive salad, scallops and meatloaf and everything was scrumptious. Our waiter was great, knowledgeable and always available.

Upon arrival you’ll find 2 steps at the entrance but there’s an easy ramp on the left that permits you to enter the restaurant through the outdoor patio area and a side door. The restaurant is of moderate size and there was just enough space between tables to navigate easily. There are no steps on the main dining level. Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, the restaurant was intimate yet fun and festive. The bar was mostly high tops tables. There is a very large, very clean wheelchair accessible restroom.

WARNING: There is an upstairs private dining area which is up a flight of stairs and not wheelchair accessible.

Parking can be difficult in Old Town but we arrived early and there were 2 available van accessible parking spaces 1/2 block away.

The Citizen Public House is fully wheelchair accessible. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, the ambiance and will definitely look forward to a return visit.
