Spectacular new museum in northern Phoenix! Opened in 2010 at a cost of $150 million, it is outstanding. A MUST SEE if you like music! Beautiful, spacious and exceptionally wheelchair friendly. No steps anywhere. The exhibit halls, elevators and restaurant are well designed and easy to navigate with a wheelchair. Lots of handicapped parking spaces. Huge wheelchair accessible restrooms. Perhaps the most wheelchair accessible museum I have ever visited! If you like music, you really must visit. And plan a full day because it’s huge.
