Jim’s Accessibility Comments:

Although I spoke to Viator about this tour, I have not taken this specific Viator tour. But you can contact them if you want a more personalized tour or more details. Frankly I’m not sure if it’s better than planning your visit through the Independence Visitor Center but I’m sure you’ll learn a lot without having to do additional research.

I’ve used Viator in other locations and found them excellent. They are normally intelligent and responsible. The local guides do not understand “accessibility” very well, nor do they normally provide accessible transport.

I spoke to Viator about this specific tour and it is only a walking tour, so no Viator transportation is involved. The booking person was not able to line up a particular tour guide who specialized in wheelchair accessible tours.
