Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

• Small 16 unit Inn located on the Seaside Promanade that has been “Grandfathered” so ADA accessible regulations do not apply.
• There are 6 rooms on the lower level, including 3 ocean front rooms on the lower level.
• These 6 rooms are accessible via a ramp on one side of the building but there are 2 entrance steps on the ocean side. These are not ADA compliant rooms but the manager states the bathrooms are likely accessible (if  you can manage a 3-4 inch threshold into the guestrooms). These rooms have king beds.
• There is 1 room (#4) off the parking lot that has no steps, but a small 3-4 inch threshold at the door. Again the manager states it is not an ADA compliant room. It has a queen bed and sofa sleeper but a reasonably accessble bathroom. No roll-in shower. I stayed here for a couple nights many years ago (1999). It’s right on the beach in town, and at least many years ago, was accessible for me. We had a great visit.
