Discover Amisfield wheelchair accessible attractions, things to do, tours and activities for disabled travelers. Read our informative review to learn if the Queenstown Amisfield Winery is wheelchair accessible and wheelchair friendly or if Wheelchair Jimmy recommends this attraction be avoided by travelers in wheelchairs.

Amisfield was established in 1988 and is a Central Otago based specialist producer of pinot noir and aromatic white wines sourced from fruit grown on its Estate vineyard beneath the Pisa mountain range in the Cromwell Basin.

This privately owned property, once a prominent high country merino station, is one of the largest single vineyard estates in the Central Otago region. The majority of the vines are over ten years old.

Amisfield wines reflect the company’s grape growing and winemaking philosophy: underlining faithful expression of site, minimal winemaking intervention and ultimate fruit purity. Stringent yield management practices deliver concentrated fruit flavor, consistency and complexity derived from the range of soils found on the vineyard.

Jim’s Accessibility Comments:

This is a beautiful winery setting and tour just 10 minutes from Queenstown. There is wheelchair accessible parking and restrooms. There are no steps at the entrance, it’s very spacious and easy to get around entire winery tour and dining tables. Make sure to make a reservation as it gets crowded. We had a lovely afternoon here.
