Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

  • Beautiful grand historic hotel with 1,025 rooms but not very wheelchair friendly. I love these grand old places and it’s a shame they’ve made it so inconvenient.
  • WARNING: To access either the Madison Lounge or the breakfast restaurant you’ll need to call guest services for them to operate their dreadful small 1 person hydraulic WC lift. What an inconvenience!
  • The hotel offers 16 wheelchair accessible rooms, and all have roll-in showers. Temporary shower chairs s are available.
  • The MAD 46 Rooftop Lounge is not accessible.
  • A beautiful grand hotel but one to avoid.
