Wheelchair Accessibility Comments

  • Elegant hotel but there are some accessibility challenges.
  • WARNING: to avoid front entry steps,  the door men will direct you to the side entrance and ramp  (just to the right of the main entry).
  • There are 7 wheelchair accessible guestrooms all with roll-in showers. Temporary shower chairs are available for the roll-in showers (no pull down bench seats).
  • WARNING: You must book your accessible room with the front desk manager for the hotel to “block” the room and guarantee your accessible room.
  • WARNING: The American Cut restaurant (breakfast, lunch dinner) has 2 steps to enter but you can go through the kitchen to avoid the steps.
  • Valet only. parking.
  • JIM’S NOTE: This is a beautiful hotel and I would be very comfortable here but I greatly dislike it  when (i) I must use a side hotel entrance door and (ii) have to go through the kitchen to access a restaurant. There are  many other options. Therefore a WJAR 2 rating.
