Jim’s Accessibility Comments:

There are numerous walking tours available for Historical Charleston. I’ve included several well respected tours above but you’ll have to call and let them know your circumstance and your special interests. I have found most are very accommodating. There are some cobblestone streets and broken sidewalks, and certainly many landmarks that have multiple steps and are not fully accessible, but the walking (rolling) tour in Charleston is really a MUST DO! It’s relatively inexpensive and only takes a couple hours.
