The New England Aquarium, which opened in 1969, is a global leader in ocean exploration and marine conservation. In addition to the main aquarium building, attractions at the New England Aquarium include the Simons IMAX Theatre and the New England Aquarium Whale Watch, which operates from April through early November. The aquarium has more than 22,000 members and hosts more than 1.3 million visitors each year.

The aquarium is wonderful and fully accessible including  wheelchair accessible restrooms and family restrooms on the 1st floor and near the cafe.
